Political persecution:
Born on 2 August 1989.
On 2 August 2021, she was detained in the evening at a country house near Minsk while celebrating her birthday together with other musicians and guests.
On 9 December 2021, the Saviecki District Court of Minsk began hearing the criminal case against members of the musical fantasy folk band IRDORATH, Uładzimir and Nadzieja Kalač, who were charged under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code (organising and preparaing actions that grossly violate public order) and Part 2 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code (training or other preparation of individuals to participate in actions that grossly violate public order, as well as financing or other material support of such activities). The latter charge was later dropped by the assistant prosecutor during the trial due to insufficient grounds.
On 14 December 2021, the Saviecki District Court of Minsk delivered the verdict under Article 342 of the Criminal Code: two years of imprisonment in a minimum-security penal colony.
Recognised as a political prisoner on 10 August 2021.
