Sociologist, methodologist, candidate of sociological sciences (Ph.D.), expert of the Humanitarian Technologies Agency, and coordinator of the Flying University. Author of books and articles on the following topics: methodology of humanitarian sciences, cultural policy, and contemporary Belarusian thinking.

On August 4, 2021, Taćciana Vadałažskaja was arrested together with the philosopher Uladzimir Mackievič and sentenced to administrative arrest for 10 days, released as a suspect in a criminal case under part 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order).

On August 6, 2021, Taćciana Vadałažskaja was recognized as a political prisoner.

On March 23, 2022, Taćciana Vadałažskaja was arrested during a visit to the Investigative Committee, where she applied for permission to go to Lithuania for medical treatment. The Investigative Committee issued a decision to place her in custody and took her to Pre-trial Detention Center No. 1 in Minsk.

Taćciana Vadałažskaja had been accused under part 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order or active participation in them). On June 7, 2022, the Zavodski District Court in Minsk sentenced her to 2.5 years of restriction of freedom in an open-type facility. This is the term previously requested by the state prosecution. Tatiana was Taćciana Vadałažskaja.

In October 2022, Taćciana began serving her sentence in Open-type Correctional Facility No. 1 in Brest.

On October 14, the Ministry of Internal Affairs included Taćciana in the “List of persons involved in extremist activities.”
