He was born into a creative family, his father is an actor at the Young Spectator’s Theater, and his mother is an actor at the Youth Theater. As a child, Ihnat Sidor\u010dyk starred in the film Dunechka (2004), and later \u2013 in Russian TV series Mukhtar. Novyy sled. In the Young Spectator’s Theater, he played several seasons in the main role of the play Little Lord Fauntleroy.<\/p>\n
In 2011, he graduated from the Belarusian Academy of Arts, Department of Directing. As the best student, he was sent to the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) for an internship.<\/p>\n
In 2016, together with the poet Julija Li\u017e and friends, they staged a musical-experimental play U\u010dyniena and in the \u0160arko Palace of Culture.<\/p>\n
After several successful seasons of poetry evenings Reading on the fence in the legendary DK Bar, together with the poet Siarhiej Da\u016dhapo\u0142a\u016d, he left for Petersburg, where they also organized poetry evenings.<\/p>\n
He read poems in bars, on apartment buildings.<\/p>\n
On August 10, 2020, Ihnat Sidor\u010dyk was arrested, his parents could not find their son for two days. The basis for the criminal case was the telegram chat Prahu\u0142ka, which police officers found on Ihnat Sidor\u010dyk\u2019s phone. He was also accused of blocking traffic in the evening after the elections near the Belarus Cinema in Minsk.<\/p>\n
He was put in the Pre-trial Detention Center No. 8 in \u017dodzina and was later transferred to Pre-trial Detention Center No. 8 in Minsk.<\/p>\n
On February 16, 2021, the Masko\u016dski District Court in Minsk sentenced Ihnat Sidor\u010dyk to three years of restriction of liberty with a referral to an open-type correctional facility. Judge Juryj Ma\u0161kieta\u016d found Ihnat Sidor\u010dyk guilty under part 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code.<\/p>\n
On February 16, 2021, he was released from custody in the courtroom.<\/p>\n
On June 13, 2021, he was sent to the open-type correctional facility in \u0160k\u0142o\u016d to serve his sentence.<\/p>\n
Ihnat Sidor\u010dyk was recognized as a political prisoner.<\/p>\n
Ihnat runs an Instagram page where he publishes his poems.<\/p>\n
