A 47-year-old resident of Tarasa\u016d village of Minsk district made flags, stickers, and \u201cother products with unregistered symbols\u201d in his printing house.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Siarhiej Maroza\u016d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, photographer from Hrodna, was called for a &#8220;preventive talk&#8221; with the police. They took a sample of his saliva, fingerprints, and he had to sign a document admitting his awareness of criminal charges for participating in protests. Before the election of 2020, Siarhej for 5 years created social and media advertising for the local police, but last August, he recorded a video throwing away all the awards he received from them.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_8641\" style=\"width: 340px\"  class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8641 size-gallery-thumbnails-small\" src=\"https:\/\/penbelarus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/1_yurascz-kopczik-340x240.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"340\" height=\"240\" \/ loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jura\u015b Kopcik<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Jura\u015b Kopcik<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, detained on September 4 during the festival &#8220;Battle of Vor\u0161a&#8221; and sentenced to 10 days for participating in an &#8220;unauthorized mass event&#8221;, received another 12 days of administrative arrest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Kiry\u0142 Saleje\u016d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the son of Vadzim Saleje\u016d, culturologist, professor at the Academy of Arts, has been detained.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Alaksandr Bahdana\u016d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (Papa Bo), founder of the Cultural Center \u201cKorpus\u201d, and <\/span><b>Maksim Kruk<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, sound designer, haven\u2019t been released after 10 days of arrest \u2013 they are suspects in a criminal case under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Dzmitry Padrez<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (Dream), a street artist, is known to have been detained as a suspect in the criminal case under Art. 130 of the Criminal Code (incitement of social hatred) since July.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_8642\" style=\"width: 340px\"  class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8642 size-gallery-thumbnails-small\" src=\"https:\/\/penbelarus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/1_mikalaj-yankojcz-340x240.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"340\" height=\"240\" \/ loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mika\u0142aj Jankoj\u0107<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Uladzimir Punko<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, director of an enterprise in Viciebsk, was thrown in jail for 20 days for a white-red-white napkin in his car.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Mika\u0142aj Jankoj\u0107<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, music journalist and musician, was detained September 15 and later fined 980 Euro \u201cfor disobeying a police officer\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Vadzim Jerma\u0161uk<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, blogger Vadimati, is a suspect in criminal cases under Art. 368 of the Criminal Code &#8220;insult to the President of the Republic of Belarus&#8221; Behind bars he is writing memoirs about his work at the Maksim Bahdanovi\u010d Literary Museum.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On September 15, punk musician <\/span><b>Ihar Bancer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> was released from the punitive confinement, where he had been put for 40 days, and brought to the open air prison in Viciebsk, where he is to serve his sentence. Bancer has been on a hunger strike for the last 19 days to protest against illegal actions against him. Now he isn\u2019t well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Viktar Babaryka<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> was transferred to another job: he works with bakery wares in the room with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, with no ventilation, the windows are not allowed to open.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><b>Dissent and Cultural Activism<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/penbelarus.org\/2021\/09\/13\/zhury-premii-shermana-abvyasczila-dougi-spis.html\"><b>long list<\/b><\/a><b> for the Carlos Sherman Award<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> has been announced.
