U\u0142adzis\u0142a\u016d Nava\u017ey\u0142a\u016d <\/b>[Uladzislau Navazhylau]<\/span>, <\/b>vocalist of the band Gods Tower, was sentenced to three years of open air prison for “insulting a government official”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ksenija Tyrsikava<\/b>, a cultural manager, left Belarus. She was detained on May 15, 2021 in her own apartment and served a 15-day administrative arrest, after which she hadn\u2019t felt safe. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ale\u015b Dzianisa\u016d<\/b> [Ales Dzianisau], musician, and his entire family were summoned to the Investigative Committee for questioning on June 22 as witnesses in the criminal case against Ale\u015b Pu\u0161kin [Ales Pushkin] and Pavie\u0142 Ma\u017eejka [Pavel Mozheika] for “rehabilitating Nazism.”<\/span><\/p>\n

On June 20,<\/span> six people were detained<\/b> near the stone To the Martyrs for Freedom and Independence of Belarus in Ma\u0142adzie\u010dna. Piotr Dyk was arrested for 15 days, and \u017danna Pilu\u010donak \u2013 for 25 days.<\/span><\/p>\n

Volha Kalackaja <\/b>[Kalatskaya], translator, suspected<\/a> under Article 342, again.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Illa Jasinski<\/b> [Ilya Yasinsky], an actor, was forced to flee Belarus because of the criminal case opened against him.<\/span><\/p>\n

An entire <\/span>film crew of 20 people<\/b> filming a young director’s thesis work were detained in Minsk on June 24. The detainees were asked what the film was about, whether there would be white-red-white symbols in it, who financed it. Most of the film crew were released at night.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Center for Urban Life <\/b>in Hrodna was liquidated on June 21. The reason for the closure was a painting by Ale\u015b Pu\u0161kin <\/b><\/a>[Ales Pushkin],\u00a0detained on March 30 under Art. 130 of the Criminal Code \u2013 Incitement to hatred. <\/span><\/p>\n

Belgazprombank gallery <\/span>ART Belarus<\/b> has got\u00a0 the paintings confiscated last June returned.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jury \u0160astko<\/b> [Yury Shastko] and\u00a0 <\/span>Ja\u016dhien Hryb<\/b> [Yauhen Hryb] were fined 100 basic units (EUR 960) for writings and images of \u201cprotest content\u201d ( \u201cLong live Belarus!\u201d, \u201c3%\u201d, white-red stripes) at three bus stops in \u017dodzina.<\/span><\/p>\n

On June 19, police officers came to the <\/span>Skarha family<\/b>‘s apartment for a sticker with Pahonia in the window. When the owners didn\u2019t open the door, the police took out the viewer in the door and let the gas into the apartment, forcing the door to be opened, the whole family was detained.<\/span><\/p>\n

U\u0142adzimir Dryndro\u017eyk<\/b> [Uladzimir Dryndrozhik], a musician, was detained on June 24 and sentenced to 7 days of administrative arrest, allegedly for a sticker on his car.<\/span><\/p>\n

“There is little I know and understand from here, but I know for sure that I have many more friends and good people around than I thought and could expect.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Natalla Chier\u0161e<\/b><\/a> [Natallia Hersche]<\/span>\u00a0has been in punitive confinement for the last month, in her last letter she complained about her health. <\/span><\/p>\n\n
