In November last year, Dzianis had already served 15 days of administrative arrest. The same term was given to the photographer <\/span><b>Marharyta Novikava<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, detained during the action &#8220;Food Not Bombs&#8221; on January 24. <\/span><b>Viktar Carykievi\u010d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, about whom we wrote in the previous issue, received a year of general regime colony for a series of actions. The owners of the store <\/span><b>Moj Rodny Kut<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Alena and Valer <\/span><b>Jesipionak<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> were detained &#8220;for selling unregistered symbols.&#8221; In Brest, the editorial office of the online magazine <\/span><b>Binocl<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and the cultural space <\/span><b>Kryly Halopa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> were searched, along with their the management. On January 29, police came to the Hrodna store Admietna\u015b\u0107, where one can buy goods with national symbols. <\/span><b>Siarhiej Vieramiejenka<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the store owner and activist, is said to have an administrative proceeding underway. The financial police came to the Minsk store Symbal.by: they confiscated all the equipment and goods, four employees were charged under Art. 17.1 (petty hooliganism). In Navahrudak, a pensioner <\/span><b>Alaksandr Bystryk<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> was detained on his way to a weekly tour of the city, and his house was searched. Poet <\/span><b>Julij Ilju\u0161\u010danka<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> was detained in Minsk on January 31 and sentenced to 25 days in jail on February 1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The online store of Belarusian symbols &#8220;\u0411\u0427\u0411.\u0431\u0435\u043b&#8221; has temporarily suspended its work due to the inspection by the Department for Combating Economic Crime. Labor protection inspection visited the shop <\/span><b>Moj Rodny Kut<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in Malaryta. On January 29, the exhibition &#8220;I can almost hear birds&#8221; by photographer Maksim Sary\u010da\u016d opened in the Brest space <\/span><b>Kryly Halopa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> but didn\u2019t work for even an hour after the visit of the Ministry of Emergencies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">People all over Belarus keep being arrested and fined for <\/span><b>white-red-white flags<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and even <a href=\"https:\/\/palesse.press\/news.php?slug=1031\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noindex noopener\">cloth of such colors on a balcony<\/a>, for white-red-white <a href=\"https:\/\/euroradio.fm\/ru\/zaderzhali-politicheskuyu-blogershu-olgu-tokarchuk-ona-uspela-zapisat-video\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noindex noopener\">balloons<\/a> released from the balcony, for a <a href=\"https:\/\/palesse.press\/news.php?slug=1032\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noindex noopener\">photo<\/a> with a flag that was not even posted publicly, for chrysanthemums &#8211; white and red. The Prosecutor General&#8217;s Office announced the recognition of the <\/span><b>white-red-white<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> flag as extremist.
