{"id":21813,"date":"2023-04-21T14:27:12","date_gmt":"2023-04-21T14:27:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/penbelarus.org\/?p=21813"},"modified":"2026-03-05T12:00:07","modified_gmt":"2026-03-05T12:00:07","slug":"nadzeya-kalach-vyzvalenaya-21-04-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/penbelarus.org\/en\/2023\/04\/21\/nadzeya-kalach-vyzvalenaya-21-04-2023.html","title":{"rendered":"Nadzieja Ka\u0142a\u010d (released on 21 April, 2023)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5><strong>Political persecution:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Born on 2 August 1989.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On 2 August 2021, she was detained in the evening at a country house near Minsk while celebrating her birthday together with other musicians and guests.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On 9 December 2021, the Saviecki District Court of Minsk began hearing the criminal case against members of the musical fantasy folk band <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IRDORATH<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>U\u0142adzimir <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Nadzieja Kala\u010d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who were charged under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code (organising and preparaing actions that grossly violate public order) and Part 2 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code (training or other preparation of individuals to participate in actions that grossly violate public order, as well as financing or other material support of such activities).
