Due to a high fever, he was released from the court to the clinic, but while he was waiting in line suspecting covid infection, he was approached by militia officers who asked him to come with them. Andrej Aku\u0161ka was not released, the trial resulted in 13 days of administrative arrest.<\/p>\n<p>On December 28, 2021, Andrej Aku\u0161ka was arrested and charged under Art. 369 of the Criminal Code (insulting a representative of the authorities) and Art. 368 of the Criminal Code (insulting the President of the Republic of Belarus).<\/p>\n<p>Sentenced to 2.5 years in a low-security penal colony.<\/p>\n<p>On March 22, 2022, he was recognized as a political prisoner.<\/p>\n<p>Since October 28, 2022, he has been on the list of &#8220;extremists.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Released on February 20, 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The author of texts for Na\u0161a historyja and Arche magazines, worked at the Palace of Children and Youth in Minsk.
