Support for Ukrainian Cultural Activists"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>For July 2 has already collected <strong>over 350,000 PLN\u00a0(\u224874,365 EUR).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The collected funds will be used to provide for the urgent needs of Ukrainian cultural figures who are in danger, namely:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>urgent relocation to the cities of Western Ukraine,<\/li>\n<li>urgent departure and resettlement in safe countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The first 5,000 euros have already been transferred to PEN Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requisites for transfers and account numbers are below.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>PEN Ukraine<\/strong> together with <strong>PEN Belarus,<\/strong> <strong>Polish\u00a0PEN Club <\/strong>and <strong>Open Culture Foundation<\/strong> is organizing a public fundraiser to support the creative community of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The funds will go to help Ukrainian writers, journalists, scholars, translators, and artists who have found themselves under threat as a result of the Russian war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At this point, we must all support Ukraine like never before because this is where the future of Europe will be decided.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The funds will be used to alleviate the urgent needs of Ukrainian creatives, whose lives are now in direct danger:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>urgent evacuation and resettlement in the cities of Western Ukraine,<\/li>\n<li>urgent evacuation and resettlement in safe countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Culture is one of the chief bastions of Ukrainian freedom and we must ensure that members of the Ukrainian cultural community can continue to speak out loudly and without hindrance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We pledge to share all details about the use of the
